As I mentioned in a previous post, I am cruising up that direction next weekend. Now I'm looking for possible recommedations to stay. Now I'm not looking for some 4-star resort, but I'm also not looking for a roach-motel. Preferably something that's easy to locate, affordable, and central to all the hot spots of Seattle. Suggestions, please?

BTW- To whoever posted the topic "you people suck!" I just wanted to say that J-Dawg and some of the others who gave me info on night life were being ANYHING BUT RUDE! Just read the suggestions they offered. That to me, is hospitality!

Um...yeah, it's me, Jason! Yeah, that's the ticket! :) Nope, sorry.

The "gay" bar is called Neighbours, located on Broadway on Capitol Hill. It's been around for a long time, and is actually open to people of all orientations, just so long as you are open-minded.

Best nightlife. If you are looking for the club scenes, check out Pioneer Square (where you pay a $10 cover ang get into 8 different clubs), and Belltown (rated in Village Voice as the hippest neighborhood in the country). Some good on-line resources are the Caustic Seattle Compendium, and Seattle Sidewalk. I don't have their respective URLs, but you should be able to look them up on Yahoo.

Later, J-Dawg
